I hate wearing helmets. I wore this helmet - thankfully, when I had a recent fall. I slammed my head so hard onto the concrete it sounded like a gunshot went off next to my head. I suffered a concussion and a trip to the ER, but I survived. I have zero doubt that without spending the money on this helmet, I would not be around - or I'd be severely impaired with a major brain injury. This helmet is comfortable enough so that if you wear it properly, you'll forget it's there..until you need it.
