I have owned only aggressive skates since 1994, but wanted a pair of rec skates to keep up with the big wheel blades that my girlfriend rides. I know my skating style and I like jumping gaps and obstacles and being able to skate street when possible, so a simple pair of rec skates would not have worked out for me.
I had been watching these A80s for a while and tried them on in-shop. I rolled around my favorite skate park and was able to immediately lock on souls and boot-down royales with no issues or hang ups. Dropping into bowls was the same with the expedition that these are FAST when compare to my 60mm anti setup.
A couple days later my GF and I went on a 16 mile path skate between some neighboring cities and I was able to make the trip with ease and comfort.
I am very happy with these; they are plenty fast and still provide the ability to grind. I just wish I had a bigger trunk because these hybrids are now coming with me along with my aggressives on trips.

I just got these today! The skates are solid and really fast right out of the box. The Myfit liners are comfy and provide a lot of support. I didn't use the heat molding since I saw no need. I love the 90 degree strap as well. I'm using these to skate to work and back (about 2 Miles a trip)and I have no complaints after using them.
