Just bought these with gc featherlite 3's and I love them! They are insanely lightweight and comfortable. I feel like I have a lot of control with these skates and it's effortless to lock into the backslide plates. My only gripe is that they might have a bit too much flex for heavier people like myself but it's not a problem because I mostly just skate rails and ledges. If you're on the heavier side maybe consider getting a carbon boot for the extra rigidity.
Side note: I actually prefer the velco strap as opposed to the buckle. Doesn't loosen at all and in my experience pretty much all skates with buckles have potential to come undone.
