That's because this skate is kind of like a snowboard binding, you put your foot into the shoe (footwrap) and then step into the skate. This skate has 2 velcro straps and a metal ratchet to help keep your foot locked into place inside of the
Xsjado's. Every single part on this skate is replaceable, so at the time when something wears out, it is easily replaced. The
Xsjado Avant II Skates come setup with
Kizer's long awaited Type X frame. The Kizer Type X frame has the exact same shape as the older Xsjado Mook frames, so if your a die hard fan of the Mooks, then the
Kizer Type X's is what your looking for. These skates are super comfortable right out of the box and have many points of adjustment, so you can make this skate fit your foot perfectly. The
