Before I even used them for skating I was worried about the hard plastic part not staying inside the wrist guard itself. Take a look at top, where the hard plastic guard fits inside the wrist guard. That material is not leather or anything particularly durable. After 2 days, a total of 5 hours at the skatepark, the top section of the wrist guard, where the hard plastic slips into has already been ripped and doesn't keep the plastic guard secure. If you don't fall much and your looking for something fashionable, these are for you. But if you are looking for something thats going to last more than a week, maybe look for something else.
