This product is a must if you are skating anything shin height or higher. There is zero fat or muscle on the shin to soften the blow of a rail of ledge to it. The Ennui Shin Guards ensure that, in the event you do nail your shin, you won't have to go to the ER because it's split open. I've only needed these things three times since I purchased them, but I'm grateful on every occasion that I was wearing them.
They fit snug to the body and are barely noticeable. Perfect to be worn over or under your pants. 10/10 would recommend.

Super comfy, I forget that they're even on. Nice firmness too, no worries about knocking my shin again. I wear them under relatively loose fitting jeans. You'd have to wear them on the outside with skinny jeans.
