The new Soul Plate is alot nicer especially the updated backside groove. The original one was slanted, sorta like the Roces m12, but allot smaller than the m12s groove. The laces that come stock on this are allot nicer than the original stock laces. The only laces i ever broke on an aggressive skate were the original them 909 laces, so its nice to see them upgrading things where they need too. The only issue i had was with the stock liner, however i swapped it for an Intuition V2. Although the new stock liner is an improvement over the original 909 liner it just feels sloppy and non supportive like most stock liners do. Besides the liners i am skating everything stock and i am really enjoying it.
