The best flat frame, April 19, 2021 By Chris (Salt Lake City, UT)
I've ridden 50/50 balance frames flat, Kizer Fluid V, Oysi, and now THEM frames.
I've had very few (if any) wheel bite issues on these. The H block is wide. They're kind of the goldilocks of flat frames: not too fast, not too expensive, and a really clean design.
I wanted to like all the other brands I mentioned, but there was always something off with each. Balance frames aren't meant for flat, Fluid V have a weird H block, and Oysi are kinda ugly and tall. I haven't tried Symetrics, but that would probably be the only other flat frame I would consider.
I'm able to get boot down on royales without any issues. That's saying something since I'm 39 years old and 6' 3". Getting wheels in is also not a total pain like Fluid V or Oysi.
Highly recommend.
