Got these as a pair to step back into the sport after a decade away from the game. I will be getting another set that allows a UFS frame. These skates are fun and fast. The way I lean intoy grinds with these causes me to catch/bite on the front wheels if I'm not balanced perfect. The soul plate is buttery and the grooves for torques and royals is very comfortable and well angled for grinds.

These are my first new skates in nearly 20 years. After putting them on and skating around a bit, I was able to (barely) land a soul grind on my first try in nearly 20 years. They are very natural and grind well. The ankle has the perfect amount of flexibility, and the frame setup grinds ledges fine without anti-rockers. The skates are very sturdy, and overall I like them. The problem is the sizing I have size 12 wide feet. The "11-12" size is like a torture device for my feet after 20 minutes of skating. The toebox area is just too narrow. I have to wear these without socks to be bearable, which causes blisters. And there is no bigger size available. Also, there is a large amount of vibration/etc. that gets transferred to your foot. My 20-year-old Solomon skates had better road absorption.
