Ive been riding these Basic II's for about 2 weeks now and love them. They are incredibly light and low to the ground. It feels like the wheels are attached to your feet. Soul spot is huge and the H-block split is the largest in the game if you are riding bigger wheels flat.
CONS: 1 - The rumors are true they are a little bit slow on soul tricks. I assume this is from the kind of plastic they are using. Not a huge issue though if you have some wax handy. 2- They replaced the velcro straps with metal speed hooks for wrapping your laces. This is a huge design flaw in my opinion. Its so easy to miss a ledge trick and competely "open" the hooks from force. I did this during my second session now have to take it off and hammer back into place. GO BACK TO THE STRAPS.

Recently Got back into skating had no idea which skates to buy but everything kept pointing back to these USD aeons. I did upgrade to the MyFit FATBOY liner.. After molding the liner and putting on the skates they are so comfortable and super lightweight. It’s been about 16 years since I put on a pair of rollerblades and these are by far the most comfortable.. I used to have Salomon skates so I was looking for comfort. The Aeons feel so smooth and the liner is a must!!
